Valeria Luccioni was born in Rome,on March 12th 1978.
After getting the Secondary School Diploma in classical studies with full marks,she followed the Ancient Pictures Restoration Course at the S.Giacomo School in Rome and she enroled at Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
After getting a grant at the Ecole des arts décoratifs de Paris she graduated (Painting) with full marks discussing an Artistic Anatomy thesis titled:"The proportional canons of human figure in connection with the evolution of western philosophic thought"(teacher Vincenzo Scolamiero,Academy of Fine Arts in Rome).
After getting a second grant at Escola Massana de Barcelona she specialized (Painting and Visual Art) with full marks discussing an Artistic Anatomy thesis titled:" The gesture in the body"(teacher Vincenzo Scolamiero,Academy of Fine Arts) .
She improved her technique and  knowledge attending a workshop with the Spanish painter Pedro Cano in Florence, an Engraving Course at Kaus Institute in Urbino and a workshop with the Catalan sculptor Jaume Ros i Vallverdú in Barcelone.
Afterwards she attended the Aesthetics and Plastic Art History Master at Université Paris 8 of Paris with the research titled:"The body as an originary opening,the meaning of nakedness,from the figure to the sign,that is to the bare graphic ".
She was protagonist with the pianist and composer Michele Sganga of the project "Animale Musicale" (Teatro Keiros, Roma) and of the project "I Giardini di Orvidas" (Lumi Edizioni Musicali).
She was selected as Painting teacher at University Upter in Rome and foreign apprentices tutor at Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
She exhibits  in Italy and abroad and parallel to her activity as a painter,she writes books and art essays in different languages.
She lives in Barcelone.
